Wandsworth Arts Fringe (WAF) is a vibrant, annual showcase of creative activity taking place across the borough of Wandsworth in south London. For two weeks in May you will be able to see some of the most dynamic and exciting work being made by local and national artists.
Street performances, family workshops, exhibitions, music and dance will be hosted by established venues, but also encountered in the parks, charity shops, galleries, libraries pubs and even the bakeries of Wandsworth.
Historically WAF has been part of Wandsworth Arts Festival, which comprised of a small number of strategic commissions curated by Wandsworth Arts Team. In 2013, a clear distinction was made for Wandsworth Arts Fringe to stand alone to benefit from the international strength of the ‘Fringe’ brand.
Wandsworth Fringe is co-ordinated on behalf of Wandsworth Council by the Arts Team of Enable Leisure & Culture, in collaboration with a steering group of local representatives and independent Fringe Producer, Cath Mattos who is also Projects Director at World Festival Network and World Fringe.
