An Indian Abroad

Pariah Khan presents

Stifled by middle-class India, Krishnan is desperate to see more of the world. He takes a year out to seek spiritual fulfilment in Britain. Keen to learn about life through the locals, what does his journey teach him about the world? What might he learn about himself? And what happens when he falls in love with a native?

An Indian Abroad takes the tropes of 'gap yah' students and white adventurers, spinning these on their head to great comic effect.

Pariah Khan is a writer, performer and professional wrestling manager. He was voted one of Bristol's 24 most influential young people for his work in theatre and comedy. He was chosen by BBC Three as one of the UK's top 50 creative young people and made his first short film 'Slice' with Channel 4's Random Acts scheme last year.
