Yolanda Mercy is a London based Actor and Playwright who works around the globe. She trained at the renowned Brit school, Laban and Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Yolanda is interested in stories that are centered around the diverse and contemporary world that we inhabit. She has successfully toured her work around the UK, and received positive responses from audiences. Her ★★★★ productions have been described as "relatable, funny and very honest". All of her shows seamlessly incorporate dark comedy, spoken word and audience participation. A springboard to discuss personal and social issues including mental health, unemployment and body image.

Varied commissions and partnerships with: Arts Council England, 02 Think Big, Soho Theatre, Rich Mix, Wandsworth Council, Talawa, Lyric Hammersmith, SE1 United, OvalHouse Theatre, Tamasha, The Migration Museum, Arc Stockton and Ideas Tap.

Yolanda's attributtes allow her to mentor and coach through her pioneering project Development Lab, private bookings, panel discussions and workshops.
